Riccardo Nannini (Italy, 1980) lives and works between Barcelona and Tuscany. After graduating in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano and gaining early experience in the fashion industry, in 2010 he moved to Barcelona, where he began developing an independent artistic career.

Painting became his main medium to address the absurdity of human behavior and the social conventions that shape collective life. His practice weaves together references to Renaissance and Flemish traditions with elements drawn from pop culture and comics, producing a visual language that combines irony, color and social critique.

In recent years, his research has focused on the narrative construction of images and the meticulous attention to detail, moving between large-scale compositions and small serial works.
